According to a survey, due to the increasing use of smartphones all over the world, the sale of camera brands had decline from past two consecutive years. Considering the shift, camera manufacturers have decided to shift the focus from casual photography camera to more enhanced, with superior image quality and compact camera for those who want to look beyond the general photography.

Are Compact Cameras are running out of market?

It has been observed in a recent trade show, that the people are not using point and shoot anymore. In fact the point and shoot CSC have been replaced by the smartphones.

We already know about compact cameras. Till date we are thinking that the DSLR are for the photo experts and the compact one have features less than the DSLR. CSC are undoubtedly famous owing to their shape, shape and design.   • You can extract 8-megapixel stills of really good quality.
  • The technology was demonstrated by  Panasonic in Photokina 2014 photographic exhibition
  • Earlier hard drive needed to save 4K footage, but now you can save directly to an SD card.

  • More and more cameras brands are featuring now Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity
  • Faster connections and high download speed between devices
  • Apart from 4k video, larger sensors, Raw and HDR (High Dynamic Range) are on the boom
  • Lens breakthroughs as well with Optical Zoom Capability are continuing to high rise.

The impact of the above changes is that now you can take continuous shots at high speed and split the captured moments. You can distinguish every single frame as a high-quality still image
